A simple starting point

There's nothing like a haze to get people (well, most... at least, those with kids) to stay indoors. Lunch is in the oven, baby is napping, no disastrous mess to clean up - what better time than now to get the hardest step made - the first post?

I've started a couple of blogs - OK.. a couple more than a couple - but none lasted long. I had high expectations of those blogs. Wanted them perfect; each post must be meaningful.. poignant ... important... and it got too difficult to carry on. No, not that I have many dramatic moments in my life; Ack! I think that would have made a life too stressful to have. It got difficult because, I mean "perfect post" - is that such a thing?

My life is not perfect but it's one I love. I love God, I love my husband and baby girl, I love Crossfit. And it is this life I want to proudly exclaim its high sparks, low dips and everything in between. And what easier than > a blog. ^-^

We are currently in the middle of the annual haze season (forest fires in Indonesia - preventable but not managed well... another post, another day) and this morning's PSI index noted air quality as hazardous. Indoors we stayed and Sam read to Adalia.

Reading a story from the children's bible
Mmmmmmm.... love.
